Tile

Tile comes in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors; it is one of the most popular choices for the consumer today. You can find a tile to match any style from modern to Tuscany.[/caption]
Two types of ceramic tile are available, Quarry tile which is a natural clay (shale) based. The other is actually a product produced by compacting clay dust—wall tile, mosaic and some floor tiles are made from this method.
Glazed tiles come in abrasive slip resistant finishes and are available in high-gloss and matte finishes.
Mosaic tile
utilizes color pigments added to different types of clay which allows the color to go through the tile. You will find mosaic tiles in unglazed and glazed finishes.
Quarry tile
mainly comes in earth tones (brown, gray and red) and it is made from unglazed clay. These tiles are porous and can stain. These tiles should be sealed after initial installation to protect them from damage.
Porcelain tile
is ‘cooked’ at very high temperatures. Porcelain is harder and stronger than any other tile. You will find that they do not absorb liquids and are more wear-resistant as well. They are the best choice for homes that may be exposed to moisture or high traffic areas.
We have hundreds of different colors, styles and sizes of tile available for you to see and much of this material is ‘In Stock’ and available for immediate installation.
